Selling popcorn is not only a great way to raise money for your group but also the perfect opportunity for you to learn the value of earning your own way and help you develop confidence in your presentation. More than 70% of the popcorn sales support your programs and local Scouting!
Popcorn sales can generate enough income to financially support your Scouting program for the entire year financially! Money made from the popcorn sale is used to cover the cost of camporees, pinewood derby races, field trips, equipment, badges, registration fees, advancement, and summer camp.
Remember: selling popcorn is not only about raising money, but representing BSA program, so wear your uniform with pride and conduct yourself accordingly.

Explains who can get the Super Saturday Prize and how it is earned.
The Unit will receive one complimentary weekend of Cabin Camping at Camp Arrowhead or Frank Childress Scout Reservation.
Requirements: The Unit must achieve an agreed upon “per Scout sales average” to receive this prize. The goal will be based on an average sale per registered Scout in the Unit. The Unit’s District Executive will have a conversation with each Unit to agree on a sales goal for 2022.
Example: Pack 000 has 20 Scouts registered in the Unit. The Unit agrees to sale $350 per Scout or $7,000 in total popcorn sales.
The top 2 selling Units in each District will receive a fully funded 1-day “mini day camp” for their Unit and families. For Troops, activities will be appropriate for older Scouts.
*The top 2 selling Units in the District will be determined by the average sale of the Scouts registered in the Unit on June 30, not the total popcorn sales.
Example: If Pack 000 sales $10,000 in popcorn with 5 Scouts ($2,000 per Scout average) and Pack 12345 sells $25,000 in popcorn with 90 Scouts ($279 per Scout average). Pack 000 will be considered the higher-selling Unit.
Each Unit Kernal that reaches its Unit’s goal will receive a 2022 embroidered fleece blanket as a recognition for their success.
