Support Local Scouting
We Rely On Your Support
Our mission is to serve others by helping instill values in young people and, in other ways, to prepare them to make ethical choices during their lifetime to achieve their full potential.
The Boy Scouts of America changes lives by providing youth with character development, citizenship training, personal fitness, and leadership skills they will carry into adulthood. The values Scouting instills are just as relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential as they were in 1910 when the organization was founded.
Every week, millions of Scouts raise their hands and make a promise. It’s not a pledge to an organization. It’s a lifelong commitment to themselves, their families, and the community they share. Your financial investment, time, and talents to help deliver this program to our youth are among the greatest gifts you can make. Take a moment to invest in the leaders of tomorrow. For questions about donations, please call the Council Office at 417-883-1636.
How Your Money Makes an Impact
Through the financial support of donors, businesses, United Ways, revenue from the Popcorn Sale and our Endowment Fund, the Ozark Trails Council can deliver a quality program to more than 5,000 youth and volunteers throughout our 31-county area.
With this support, the Ozark Trails Council is able to provide insurance coverage, training and support for adult volunteers and leaders, monthly roundtable support in order to help unit leaders be successful in their roles, a Council service center that provides the “behind the scenes” support of the program and so much more!
