Popcorn Sales

Generate enough income to financially support your Scouting program.

Selling popcorn is not only a great way to raise money for your group but also the perfect opportunity for you to learn the value of earning your own way and help you develop confidence in your presentation. More than 70% of the popcorn sales support your programs and local Scouting!

Popcorn sales can generate enough income to financially support your Scouting program for the entire year financially! Money made from the popcorn sale is used to cover the cost of camporees, pinewood derby races, field trips, equipment, badges, registration fees, advancement, and summer camp.

Remember: selling popcorn is not only about raising money, but representing BSA program, so wear your uniform with pride and conduct yourself accordingly.

The 50 States Club is a popcorn sellers challenge created to extend the reach of your Scouts popcorn sale and have a little fun while doing it!

NOTE: All popcorn sales for this challenge must be made ONLINE – in person sales do not count towards the challenge.

Objective: Scout will make an online popcorn sale to friends and family (or friends of friends and family) in all 50 states.

Prize: First 10 Scouts to sell to 25 states, receive a $100 Amazon gift card. First 10 to sell to all 50 states, receive a $250 Amazon gift card. (Scouts who are in the top 10 to sell to 25 states and are in the top 10 to sell to all 50 states, will receive both the $100 and $250 Amazon gift cards.)  AND, these prizes are in addition to the award level prizes for selling popcorn.

Use the resources below to find out more about how your Scout could successfully become a
50 States Club popcorn seller!
