MBU events
Merit Badge University (MBU) is an event held at colleges and universities across the country that allows Scouts to complete merit badges. The event is typically a weekend-long, day-camp-style event. MBU events are organized and run by volunteers with the support of the local council.
At MBU, Scouts can choose from a wide variety of merit badges to work on.
You can register for MBU in advance and pay a small fee to cover the cost of materials and instructors. When they arrive at the event, they check in and are given a schedule for the weekend. They then attend their selected classes and work on completing the requirements for the merit badges.
