James E. West Fellowship
Named after the first Chief Scout Executive of the Boy Scouts of America, The James E. West Fellowship is a national recognition for those who contribute $1,000 or more in cash or securities to our Council's endowment fund. The gift must be in addition to and not replace or diminish your annual Friend’s of Scouting support.
The award does not have to be in your name. Organizations or individuals may contribute an award in honor of someone such as an Eagle Scout, a Silver Beaver recipient, significant Scout leader, or in memory of a departed loved one, business associate, or special Scouter.
The Heritage Society
The Heritage Society is our Council’s way of recognizing those who have made deferred gifts to the Endowment Fund. A Heritage Society member of the Ozark Trails Council is anyone who informs the Council in writing that he or she has made provisions in his or her will or other estate plan for a gift of $1,000 or more.
You may have already made provisions for the Council in your estate plan, but have not yet informed us of your gift. If you have made a gift and have not informed us about it we ask that you contact the Scout Service Center so that we can recognize you for your generosity, commitment and the example to inspire others to make a gift.
