Youth Protection in Scouting
The Ozark Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America has adopted a number of policies aimed at protecting youth members from violence and eliminating opportunities for abuse within the Scouting program. These policies, which may be found in the Guide to Safe Scouting focus on leadership selection, placing barriers to abuse within the program, and training leaders and youth members in identifying, reporting and understanding the consequences of unacceptable behavior. Child Abuse or signs of child abuse in the Scouting Program must be reported immediately to:
