2013 Scouting for Food
Over 400 youth and adults participated in the 24th annual Scouting for Food drive, collecting 18,150 pounds just during March of 2013. Of those pounds, 15,935 went to the Ozarks Food Harvest and eight of The Food Bank’s partner organizations – the equivalent of 13,279 meals. These donations were a huge boost for local food pantries, as majority of giving is done during the holiday season.
In 2012, only 2,400 pounds were reported to Ozarks Food Harvest and the Council.

Thank you to all who participated in Scouting for Food! We were able to feed thousands of individuals in the Ozarks because of your ‘Good Turn.’
