Due to the incliment weather and condition of the parking lot, Day Camp has been reschedule to June 20th and 21st at High Street Baptist Church, 900 N. Eastgate Ave. On Friday, June 20th registration will open at 5:15pm and the opening ceremony will start at 6pm, closing Flag Retirement will begin at 9pm. On Saturday, June 21st registration will open at 8am, opening ceremony will begin at 8:20am, and closing ceremony will begin at 5:50pm. Click here for a schedule.

Free night at the Springfield Lasers

Join the Springfield Lasers tennis team on Thursday, July 17th as they take on the San Diego Aviators! All Scouts (under the age of 15) will recieve a FREE ticket, every unit attending will recieve two FREE tickets to use for two leaders. Parents and other leaders can attend at HALF PRICE, only $7.50. Scouts and two scout leaders MUST wear Class A or Class B to recieve the free tickets. A tennis clinic for youth with begin at 4pm on the indoor courts at Cooper Tennis complex. Scout Night at the Springfield Cardinals

Come watch the Springfield Cardinals play on Saturday, July 19th!  The pregame parade starts at 5:15pm and the game begins at 6:10pm. Tickets are $7 per person and include a commemorative coin! Ticket orders are due by Friday, July 11th. Once orders are placed, tickets can be picked up at the Scout office in Springfield until Friday, July 18th. Step Up for Down Syndrome

On June 28th the Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks will hold its 7th annual fundraising walk! There will be fun for the whole family, beginning at 2pm. Units and leaders interested in attending or helping with the walk, contact Gretchen at the DSGO office at 417-885-9905.

iCan Shine Bike Camp

iCan Shine is a non-profit organization that teaches individuals with disabilities how to ride bicycles through its iCan Bike program. They are hosting a camp July 7th through the 11th. Units with children who have disabilities and are at least 8 years old, should contact Mindy Hesterly at 417-300-3686 for more information on the camp. Units and leaders interested in helping with the program or with camp should also contact Mindy.
