Boy Scout Golf Classic
This, 21st annual Boy Scout Golf Classic, is sponsored by Farmers State Bank. The event will be held at Silo Ridge Golf & Country Club in Bolivar. Prime Inc. Opportunity
Prime Inc. has offered to assist scouts who are working on the Trucking Transportation merit badge. They will help with some portions of the merit badge and will be able to answer any questions. Prime Inc. will also give tours to units looking for a fun activity or go-see-it! Contact Clayton Brown

Ozark Health Center Community Garden
The Christian County Health Department is looking for units to take care of a small community garden in 2013. The garden is located at the Health Department building, 301 E. Brick Street, Ozark, and the unit(s) will be able to choose what plants they would like to grow. The Health Department would provide all equipment and seeds while also watering the garden throughout the work week. Units would need to weed and tend to the garden at least once a week. The Health Department would also provide Master Gardeners to do demonstrations and give guidance. This opportunity could be used to fulfill some parts of the Gardening merit badge! Service Project with Habitat for Humanity
The Habitat for Humanity Restore is looking for units to help flyer neighborhoods in Springfield and the surrounding area. Units can pick up any number of flyers from the Restore and canvas a neighborhood of their choice. Flyers will have information on the Restore on them. If you are interested in working with the Restore on this or have an idea of your own, contact Chris Houghton at 417-840-4210.
