Hooked on Scouting

All NEW Cub Scouts are invited to attend this free fishing event on September 27th! It will be held at Bass Pro'd Headquarters on Kearny Street from 10am-2pm. New Scouts will get to use their rods and reels the got for joining and will go through stations to earn their fishing belt loop! September is Scout month at Bass Pro Shops!

Bass Pro is offering two merit badge classes! Tuesday, Sept. 23rd is Rifle Shooting and Thursday, Sept. 25th is Fishing! Class sizes are limited so register in advance, either at Customer Service or call the store to register over the phone!

Scout Day at MSU Football!

Join the Bears for a day of football fun! Saturday, Nov. 15th the Bears take on North Dakota State at 2pm. Scouts in uniform will get to go on the field after the game to take some photos in the in-zone! Tickets are $6 for adults and youth ages 13 and up, $3 for youth ages 2-12. Sign up at the Scout Office before November 12th!

Third Annual Meals a Million Pack-a-thon is coming up on November 14th-16th! Over those three days, volunteers will help pack over 1 million meals that will feed the hungry locally and globally. There is an age limit, must be at least 10 years old. Sign up to help at

Toys for Tots at Youngblood Motors is looking for musical talent and volunteers to help load the toys! Friday, Nov. 28th and Saturday, Nov. 29th from 10am-5pm, sign up to showcase your musical talents (signing, banjo playing, harp harping, whatever!) and play some Christmas tunes! If you're not so musically inclined, sign up to help load the thousands of donated toys on Saturday at 6:30pm. Jobs:Door Greeters, Box Builders, Loading Toys, Moving Boxes Into Truck, Assisting Marines -food/drink runners, Sign Holders, Maintaining food/drink tables.
