Roundtable
2nd Tuesday of each month at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-23030 E Highway 86, Granby, MO. This is open to all leaders who want to come out and learn what is going on in the district and get supplemental training each month. May and June 2013 Roundtables are at Frank Childress Scout Reservation and are pot luck events!!

Riddle Me This
Would you get on a plane if the flight attendant came over the itercom and said, "Welcome to XYZ Air. We hope you enjoy your flight from Joplin to Tampa Bay today. Your seat back can be used as a flotation device and oh by the way only 28% of our pilots are trained."?
You would get off that flight immediately. So why would Johnny Cub Scouts mom want to bring him to a den, pack, troop, crew, or post meeting when only 35% of our leaders are trained?? Training is VERY important not only so the leaders know what their role is but also so that the youth can have a quality program. Every Scout Deserves a Trained Leader!
