Steps to 2013 Recharter:
Step One - in this process is to select a person to serve as the unit renewal processor. Once this person is selected, meet with them to review this email and the attachments that will walk them through the process from start to finish. They will require the Access Code that will also be emailed to the above list to begin the process. Should you or your unit renewal processor have questions, please direct them to contact their unit or district commissioner who will mentor them through the process.
Brief overview of changes:
» During this recharter process, we are shifting our expiration dates to the fall instead of right after the holidays to streamline to process for our unit leaders in collect fees and renewing existing members at the same time as adding new members.
» Because of this shift, fees will be LESS than the normal yearly cost. Ignore the fee sheet that is shown on the regular charter renewal application and use the attached Fee Worksheet instead to avoid over-payment.
» There is a simple checklist also attached to help make sure that all forms are prepared and turned in to enable the renewal to be processed. Be sure all items are completed on this checklist before the paperwork is submitted.
